If you are practicing with a recording by yourself and you feel the full class is too much for you, there are a few things you can do â depending on your situation. If you are following a class at home, you are encouraged to stay with your feelings instead of ending the recording â you donât need to force yourself to do anything; however staying present with the feelings is how you will help ground and integrate your experience, while the group energy is still happening. This guidance is exactly how I would personally support you if you were at a live in-person class.
Get curious about your response to awakening your internal energies, be gentle, and simply allow yourself to rest but donât abruptly end the practice. Getting up and leaving while activated/ feeling emotional is not recommended, as you will have stirred emotions up without giving them a chance to transform and ground via the process of the practice. Or you could pause the recording and lie down until your feel really grounded, before moving onto something else in your schedule that day. The Sensual Rejuvenation practice gives the chance to be guided in a Tigress practice under 30 minutes long if you prefer. Also, by focusing on the Somatic Feminine Meditations, it could help to create internal stability and inner attention, to support you being able to move forward with Tigress embodiment classes.
Itâs important to note that itâs probably not accurate that Tigress is too much for you; itâs probably more truthful to say that itâs bringing you into contact with what you already have inside, and you feel unsure how to process it. Learning how to feel and process sensations and feelings is integral to female embodiment work - which is what shows you how to be that woman who is a living sanctuary for her own sovereignty in daily life.
